THE ROLE:
As a Silicon Design Engineer in the AMD CAD team, you will work with STA experts to come up with the timing methodology and flow and work on development and support of the timing flows.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Timing analysis and timing closure methodology, flow development and support
- Maintain and add enhancements to the AMD STA code flow
- Collaborate with Design teams and EDA vendors to further enhance AMD timing closure methodology
- Regressions to benchmark new tool versions, signoff versus implementation tool timing benchmarking
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Experienced professional with 2-6 years industry experience in STA, constraints, timing signoff and physical design
- Good understanding of Physical Design implementation
- Good scripting skills in TCL, Perl or Python
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in computer engineering/Electrical Engineering
