Job Description
Mavenbird Technologies is expanding its Shopify development team and is looking for talented
Shopify Developers with 15 years of experience. If you have strong expertise in Shopify theme development, app customization, and eCommerce best practices, we'd love to have you onboard. The position is open at our
Ahmedabad office.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, and optimize Shopify themes using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Liquid, and related technologies.
- Build and customize Shopify stores for retail and wholesale businesses.
- Perform store migrations, performance optimization, and speed enhancements.
- Create custom Shopify themes and modify existing templates as per project needs.
- Work with Shopify APIs for products, orders, customers, webhooks, etc.
- Develop, configure, and install Shopify apps (private and public).
- Collaborate with design and backend teams to deliver high-quality eCommerce solutions.
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsive design standards.
- Maintain detailed documentation and follow coding best practices.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong expertise in Liquid programming language.
- Hands-on experience in building, launching, and maintaining Shopify stores.
- Ability to create Shopify eCommerce websites from scratch.
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery, and responsive UI development.
- Ability to integrate, configure, and safely remove third-party Shopify apps.
- Strong understanding of web development principles and performance optimization.
- Experience debugging Shopify issues using browser console and external tools.
- Knowledge of Shopify objects, properties, API usage, and Meta fields.
- Experience with other eCommerce platforms/plugins is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of PHP and OOP concepts is a plus.
