Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow ITOM Developer/Consultant with strong expertise in Event Management, Discovery, Service Mapping, and Orchestration. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing IT Operations Management solutions on the ServiceNow platform to improve service visibility, infrastructure monitoring, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow ITOM solutions including Event Management, Discovery, Service Mapping, and Orchestration.
- Configure and maintain ServiceNow Discovery to identify infrastructure components and populate the CMDB with accurate configuration data.
- Implement and optimize Service Mapping to visualize relationships between IT infrastructure and business services.
- Configure Event Management to ingest events from monitoring tools and correlate them into actionable alerts.
- Develop and maintain Orchestration workflows to automate IT operations processes and infrastructure tasks.
- Integrate ServiceNow ITOM with third-party monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Splunk, or similar tools.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity within the CMDB through discovery and service mapping best practices.
- Build custom workflows, scripts, and automation using ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, Glide APIs).
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ITOM modules and integrations.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, and application teams to improve service visibility and operational efficiency.
- Follow ServiceNow best practices, governance standards, and platform security guidelines.
- Support upgrades, enhancements, and ongoing maintenance of the ServiceNow ITOM platform.

- Good understanding of ServiceNow CMDB architecture and data model.
- Hands-on experience with MID Server configuration and troubleshooting.
- Experience in ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, Glide APIs, Business Rules, Script Includes).
- Experience integrating ServiceNow with monitoring tools and third-party systems.
- Good understanding of IT Infrastructure (Servers, Network, Cloud, Applications).
- Knowledge of ITIL processes and IT service management concepts.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Cloud Discovery (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Knowledge of ServiceNow ITSM modules.
- Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and integrations.
- ServiceNow ITOM or CIS certifications.
