Job Title: ServiceNow Functional Analyst – ITSM, CMDB, SPM

Experience: 8+ Years

Location: Remote

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Functional Analyst with strong expertise in ITSM, CMDB, and Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) modules. The ideal candidate will bridge business needs and technical solutions, driving ServiceNow implementations, enhancements, and process optimization initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for ServiceNow implementations and enhancements
  • Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams
  • Configure and implement ServiceNow ITSM modules (Incident, Problem, Change, Request)
  • Manage and optimize CMDB (Configuration Management Database) including data modeling, governance, and data quality
  • Support implementation and enhancement of SPM (Strategic Portfolio Management) modules such as Demand, Project Portfolio, and Resource Management
  • Design workflows, business rules, and process automation using ServiceNow best practices
  • Collaborate with developers for customization, integrations, and deployments
  • Ensure data integrity, compliance, and adherence to ITIL standards
  • Conduct workshops, UAT sessions, and end-user training
  • Support release management, upgrades, and platform maintenance

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of IT experience with 3+ years in ServiceNow Functional/Business Analyst role
  • Strong hands-on experience in:
  • ITSM (Incident, Problem, Change, Request Management)
  • CMDB & CSDM framework
  • SPM (Demand, Project Portfolio Management, Resource Management)
  • Good understanding of ITIL processes and frameworks
  • Experience in requirement gathering, BRD/FRD documentation, and stakeholder management
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow platform capabilities, workflows, and integrations
  • Exposure to ServiceNow reporting, dashboards, and performance analytics
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
