Role: Senior ServiceNow developer

Desired Experience Range: 6 to 8 years

Preferred/Current Location: Kolkata

Job Description:

Project management skills to lead ServiceNow implementation projects.

Requirement Gathering, analyzing, document and managing business and user requirements (both functional and non-functional)

Identify potential solutions for the business and provide input to issues or risks (through solid knowledge of the business and user requirements).

Understanding the big picture and scalability of complex solutions

Develop and optimize functional processes, in accordance with the best practices of the ServiceNOW platform.

Support customers in their functional and technical choices around different ServiceNow modules Good knowledge of ServiceNow modules (ITSM, CMDB).

Optimize operational processes, assess their maturity and identify and evaluate efficiency gains. Design the most relevant technical and functional solutions while respecting good practices. Proficiency in JavaScript: ServiceNow uses JavaScript extensively for customizations, so a strong understanding of JavaScript is crucial.

Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS).

Knowledge of database concepts (e.g., SQL).

Understanding of ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) processes and best practices can be valuable.

Proven experience working with ServiceNow, including configuration, development, and implementation.

Strong knowledge of JavaScript and related technologies.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective client interactions.

Desirable

ServiceNow certifications (such as Certified System Administrator, Certified Application Developer, or Certified Implementation Specialist) are highly desirable.

Good knowledge of ServiceNow other modules (ITBM, HRSD, ESM, etc.)
