Job Description

PepsiCo is seeking a seasonedServiceNow Architectwith deep expertise inTechnology Excellence domains(ITSM, ITOM, SecOps, APM, SPM, OT) to lead thesolution design, platform governance, and architectural oversightof our ServiceNow ecosystem. This role is instrumental in ensuring that platform capabilities align with enterprise architecture, business objectives, and industry best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Define and maintain the ServiceNow architectural blueprint for Technology Excellence domains, ensuring alignment with PepsiCos strategic and operational goals.
  • Lead solution design reviews, ensuring proposed configurations and customizations adhere to architectural standards and best practices.
  • Develop and enforce platform standards, guardrails, and design guidelines to ensure consistency, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Provide technical advisory and support to developers, administrators, and project teams across ServiceNow initiatives.
  • Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to translate business needs into architectural guidance and platform capabilities.
  • Ensure platform solutions meet performance, security, and compliance requirements.
  • Support the evaluation of new ServiceNow capabilities and modules, advising on their fit within the existing architecture.
  • Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including reference architectures, design patterns, and governance models.
  • Act as a mentor and thought leader, promoting architectural excellence and continuous improvement across the ServiceNow community at PepsiCo.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of overall IT experience, with 5+ years in a ServiceNow Architect or senior design role.
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Masters degree preferred.
  • Highly desirable certifications: ServiceNow Architecture Excellence (ArchX), Certified Technical Architect (CTA), or Certified Master Architect (CMA).
  • Deep expertise in ServiceNow platform architecture, with a focus on ITSM, ITOM, SecOps, APM, SPM, and OT.
  • Strong knowledge of ServiceNow modules, scripting (JavaScript, Jelly), and web technologies (HTML, CSS, AngularJS, AJAX, REST, JSON, XML).
  • Experience designing ServiceNow Portal and/or Mobile solutions.
  • Familiarity with ITIL frameworks, Agile methodologies, and DevOps practices.
  • Proven ability to review and guide technical solutions, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and business needs.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Strong collaboration and influencing skills, with experience working across cross-functional teams and global stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated leadership and mentoring capabilities.
