Job Summary: As a ServiceNow Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing ServiceNow solutions that meet the business needs of our organization. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive best practices and ensure that the ServiceNow platform aligns with our strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Solution Design: Architect and design scalable and efficient ServiceNow solutions that address business requirements and enhance user experience.
- Implementation: Lead the implementation of ServiceNow modules, including ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, and custom applications.
- Integration: Design and manage integrations with third-party applications and internal systems using REST, SOAP, and other integration technologies.
- Best Practices: Develop and maintain best practices for ServiceNow development, including coding standards, version control, and testing procedures.
- Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize ServiceNow performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing enhancements.
- Documentation: Create and maintain architectural documentation, including design diagrams, workflows, and technical specifications.
- Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers and administrators on ServiceNow best practices and development techniques.
- Stay Current: Keep up-to-date with the latest ServiceNow features and updates, and evaluate their potential impact on our environment.
Qualifications:
- BE/B.Tech Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a ServiceNow Architect or similar role, with a strong portfolio of successful implementations.
- In-depth knowledge of ServiceNow platform capabilities, architecture, best practices and experience with Integrations (REST/SOAP) & APIs.
- Strong understanding of ITIL processes and frameworks.
- Proficiency in ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, GlideScript), and knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, AJAX).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer
- Certified Implementation Specialist.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
