Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled ServiceNow Developer / Consultant with strong hands-on experience in ServiceNow development and customization across multiple modules, including ITSM, HRSD, CSM, SPM, CMDB, and Flow Designer. The ideal candidate will also possess proficiency in Java and Angular, enabling them to design, extend, and integrate complex ServiceNow solutions. Candidates must have a solid understanding of JavaScript, Glide APIs, REST APIs, and end-to-end implementation experience to deliver scalable, enterprise-grade ServiceNow applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, configure, and implement solutions across ITSM, HRSD, CSM, CMDB, and SPM modules.
- Develop custom applications, Service Catalogs, Record Producers, Workflows, Flow Designer flows, and UI Policies.
- Leverage Java and Angular to extend ServiceNow applications, develop custom UIs, and integrate third-party applications.
- Build and manage Integrations using REST APIs, SOAP, IntegrationHub, and MID Servers with platforms like Jira, Salesforce, Slack, OpsRamp, SAFe, and APW.
- Implement and manage Access Controls (ACLs), roles, and user criteria to maintain data security.
- Configure and enhance Service Portals, Employee Center, Playbooks, and Workspaces to improve UX.
- Work on CMDB data management including data load, deduplication, and relationship mapping.
- Develop and execute Automated Test Framework (ATF) scripts for regression and upgrade testing.
- Create and automate Performance Analytics dashboards, reports, and scorecards.
- Participate in Agile development sprint planning, stand-ups, demos, and retrospectives.
- Handle code promotion, update set management, and environment synchronization.
Required Skills & Expertise:
- Core Modules: ITSM, HRSD, CSM, CMDB, SPM (Project/Idea/Demand), ITBM, Flow Designer, Service Portal.
- Programming: Strong experience in Java, JavaScript, Angular, and Glide Scripting.
- Scripting: Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Actions, Script Includes, Scheduled Jobs, and Workflows.
- Integrations: REST APIs, SOAP, IntegrationHub Spokes (Jira, Slack, Salesforce, APW, OpsRamp).
- Testing & Automation: ATF, Flow Designer Testing, and automation frameworks.
- Reports & Dashboards: Performance Analytics, KPIs, Widgets, and Data Visualization.
- Security: ACLs, Roles, and User Criteria Management.
- Tools: GitHub, Jira, Postman, Agile Methodology.
Certifications (Preferred):
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist ITSM / HRSD / CSM
- ServiceNow Micro-Certifications: Flow Designer, CMDB, ATF, Performance Analytics
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Custom App Development, Workspace customization, and Angular-based UI development.
- Exposure to ITBM / SPM modules (Idea, Demand, Project).
- Familiarity with Performance Analytics optimization and visualization.
