About the Role

Loom Solar is looking for a dedicated and technically skilled Service Engineer to handle installation support, troubleshooting, maintenance, and customer service for solar products and systems. The candidate will play a key role in ensuring smooth functioning of solar panels, inverters, batteries, and related equipment while maintaining high customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, inspect, and maintain solar power systems including panels, inverters, batteries, and wiring systems.

  • Diagnose and resolve electrical and technical faults at customer sites.

  • Provide after-sales service and ensure timely complaint resolution.

  • Conduct preventive maintenance of installed systems.

  • Test equipment performance and ensure systems operate efficiently.

  • Coordinate with internal teams such as sales, production, and technical support for issue resolution.

  • Prepare service reports, maintenance logs, and customer feedback records.

  • Educate customers on product usage, safety precautions, and basic maintenance.

  • Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and company service protocols.

  • Travel to customer locations for on-site service whenever required.



Requirements

Required Qualification

  • ITI in Electrical / Electrician Trade
    OR


  • Diploma in Electrical Engineering


Experience

  • Freshers can apply.

  • 1–3 years of experience in electrical maintenance, solar service, or field service will be preferred.


Required Skills

  • Basic knowledge of electrical circuits, wiring, and troubleshooting.

  • Understanding of solar systems, inverters, and batteries.

  • Ability to use electrical tools and testing instruments such as multimeter, clamp meter, etc.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Good communication and customer handling skills.

  • Ability to work independently and in field conditions.

  • Willingness to travel for service visits.

  • Basic computer knowledge for reporting and documentation.
