Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end service delivery for production systems, ensuring high availability and performance
- Manage Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) environments, including support, upgrades, and optimization
- Oversee database administration (DBA) activities (backup, recovery, performance tuning, patching)
- Lead incident, problem, and change management processes for production systems
- Ensure adherence to SLAs, OLAs, and KPIs across services
- Coordinate with infrastructure teams for servers, storage, network, and security operations
- Manage cloud-based applications (AWS / Azure / OCI) including monitoring, cost optimization, and scalability
- Drive root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures
- Act as the primary escalation point for critical incidents and client issues
- Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships
- Lead service review meetings and present operational reports
- Ensure compliance with governance, security, and audit requirements
- Mentor and manage cross-functional technical teams
Required Skills & Competencies
Technical Skills
- Strong experience in Production Support & Application Support
- Experience with Cloud Platforms (AWS / Azure / Oracle Cloud)
- Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., OEM, Splunk, AppDynamics, etc.)
Service Delivery Skills
- Strong understanding of ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change, Release)
- SLA/KPI management and reporting
- Risk management and escalation handling
- Vendor and stakeholder management
Soft Skills
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
- Strong leadership and team management
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset
- Ability to work in high-pressure, 24/7 production environments
