Job Summary:
We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented SEO Intern to join our digital marketing team. This role is ideal for candidates who are eager to learn search engine optimization techniques and gain hands-on experience in improving website visibility, traffic, and rankings on search engines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in keyword research using SEO tools
- Optimize website content, blogs, and landing pages for search engines
- Support on-page SEO activities (meta tags, headings, internal linking, etc.)
- Conduct basic technical SEO audits and report issues
- Monitor website performance using tools like Google Analytics and Search Console
- Perform competitor analysis and identify SEO opportunities
- Assist in backlink building and off-page SEO activities
- Update and maintain SEO reports and documentation
- Work closely with content and design teams to implement SEO strategies
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Basic understanding of SEO concepts and digital marketing
- Familiarity with tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, or keyword planners
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail
- Willingness to learn and adapt quickly
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel / Google Sheets
Educational Qualification:
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, IT, Mass Communication, or related field
- Certification in Digital Marketing/SEO (preferred but not mandatory)
Experience Required:
- Freshers are welcome
- Any prior internship or project experience in SEO/digital marketing is an added advantage
Learning Outcomes:
- Hands-on experience in on-page and off-page SEO
- Exposure to real-time SEO tools and analytics platforms
- Understanding of website ranking strategies and algorithms
- Practical knowledge of content optimization and keyword strategy
