Job SummaryWe are looking for a Lead – SEO, Ecommerce & Organic Growth to drive end-to-end organic search strategy and execution for our clients across diverse industries, with a strong focus on ecommerce and performance-led SEO outcomes.
This is a remote leadership role that requires both strategic ownership and hands-on execution capability.
The ideal candidate should have strong experience in:
- Enterprise and ecommerce SEO
- Technical SEO
- Content-led organic growth
- Search performance reporting
- Client communication and team leadership
- Emerging search trends including AEO (Answer Engine Optimization), AI Search visibility, and Generative Search optimization
This role will play a critical part in building Scrolling Rabbit's SEO and organic growth practice.
Key ResponsibilitiesSEO Strategy & Growth Ownership- Lead end-to-end SEO strategy for multiple client accounts
- Build growth roadmaps aligned with business objectives, traffic, rankings, and revenue KPIs
- Define organic acquisition strategies across search, content, and technical optimization
- Drive measurable improvements in organic traffic, lead generation, and ecommerce revenue
Ecommerce SEO- Lead SEO strategy for D2C and ecommerce brands across platforms such as Shopify, WooCommerce, and custom commerce platforms
- Optimize category pages, product pages, collections, faceted navigation, internal linking, and crawl depth
- Improve discoverability of high-intent transactional keywords
- Work on SEO strategies for product feeds, structured data, and merchandising-led landing pages
- Understand conversion-led SEO, not just ranking-led SEO
Technical SEO- Conduct technical audits and identify issues impacting crawlability, indexing, and site performance
- Optimize:
- Core Web Vitals

- JavaScript SEO
- Collaborate with developers and tech teams for implementation
Content & Search Experience- Work closely with content, design, and strategy teams to build SEO-first content frameworks
- Develop topical authority strategies, content clusters, and information architecture
- Improve SERP visibility through rich snippets, FAQ schema, and entity-led optimization
- Build organic content strategies aligned to user intent and search journeys
AEO / AI Search Optimization (Good to Have)- Drive visibility strategies for emerging search ecosystems including:
- AEO (Answer Engine Optimization)
- AI-powered search interfaces
- conversational search experiences
- zero-click search visibility
- Understand how content surfaces across AI assistants and search-generated answers
- Stay updated with changes in search behavior beyond traditional SERPs
Leadership & Client Management- Lead SEO discussions with clients and internal stakeholders
- Present strategy, insights, and performance reports confidently
- Mentor junior SEO team members and guide execution quality
- Build processes, SOPs, templates, and best practices for the SEO team
- Own delivery timelines and quality standards
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Business, or related field
- 4–6+ years of hands-on SEO experience, preferably in a digital agency or performance marketing environment
- Strong experience working with ecommerce brands
- Proven track record of delivering growth in organic traffic and revenue
- Strong understanding of technical SEO and content SEO
- Experience using tools such as:
- Google Analytics
- Google Search Console
- Ahrefs
- SEMrush
- Screaming Frog SEO Spider
- Strong analytical and reporting skills
- Excellent communication and client-facing ability
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities independently
Good to Have- Exposure to AEO / AI search optimization
- Experience with CRO-led SEO
- Knowledge of SEO for international / multi-region websites
- Experience with SEO automation and AI tools
- Familiarity with paid media and content synergy
