About the Role
We are a fast-growing, well-funded startup hiring a Content Writer to help us publish long and short-form content for our clients. Our clients range from E-Commerce to Series A+ B2B & B2C businesses across the globe.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Create and edit multiple content pieces daily, including blog posts, product descriptions, landing pages, and social media copy.
- Leverage SEO and industry tools (including AI-powered platforms like ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity) to ensure high-quality, discoverable, and conversion-optimized content.
- Collaborate with SEO and marketing teams to align content with keyword strategies, audience targeting, and client goals.
- Research and analyze industry trends, competitor content, and client requirements to produce relevant, engaging, and authoritative content.
- Optimize content for both traditional search engines and generative AI platforms (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, etc.) to maximize visibility and citations.
- Manage multiple priorities and stakeholders, meeting deadlines and quality standards across diverse client verticals.
- Participate in content planning, brainstorming, and editorial meetings to contribute to content calendars and strategy.
- Review and update existing content for accuracy, freshness, and SEO performance.
- Track content performance using real-time dashboards and analytics tools, iterating based on data-driven insights.
- Ensure all content is brand-aligned, grammatically correct, and tailored to the target audience.
You'll be great fit if you have
- A degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 6 months of experience in creating written content, preferably in a consumer-facing role.
- Experience working with AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, etc.
- Fluency in English.
- Work samples of pieces optimized for search engines and readers.
- Strong research, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
