About the Role
Viacation is looking for an experienced SEO Content Writer who can create high-quality, search-optimised travel content that informs, inspires, and performs. This role is ideal for someone who understands how storytelling and SEO work together to drive visibility and engagement. You will be responsible for producing and optimising content across the website while maintaining consistency, accuracy, and brand voice.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and write engaging, keyword-optimised blogs and articles related to travel
- Develop content focused on travel itineraries, destinations, guides, and travel tips that align with search intent
- Ideate, write, edit, and publish content on a regular basis
- Follow defined content structures, tone guidelines, and SEO best practices
- Contribute content ideas based on search trends and seasonal travel demand
- Optimise existing content to improve organic performance, including titles, meta descriptions, headers, and on-page content
- Ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency across all published content
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 1+ year of experience in SEO content writing
- Strong understanding of SEO fundamentals, including keywords, on-page optimisation, and search intent
- Proven ability to write blogs, guest posts, and website content
- Attention to detail with an ability to identify inconsistencies across website content
- Familiarity with web publications and digital content standards
- Excellent command of written English with strong grammar and clarity
- Passion for travel and storytelling through content
Eligibility
- Graduation in English, Journalism, Mass Communication, or a related field
- Prior experience in a travel company is a plus
- Strong research skills and the ability to simplify complex travel information
