Job Description

Position Overview: We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Video Editor to join our

dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in creating promotional

content for films, as well as expertise in sound mixing and mastering for broadcast-quality

telecast masters. You will be responsible for ensuring that all video content meets the highest

standards of quality, format, and resolution.

Key Responsibilities:

Video Editing: Create engaging promotional videos for movies, working closely with the

marketing team to deliver impactful content.

Sound Mixing & Mastering: Ensure optimal audio quality by performing sound mixing

and mastering for telecast masters, adhering to broadcasting standards.

Technical Quality Control: Conduct thorough quality checks on all video content,

making necessary modifications to enhance visual and audio quality.

Format Expertise: Work with a variety of video formats, sizes, and resolutions,

including 4K, 2K, and others, ensuring compatibility across different platforms and

devices.

Collaboration: Collaborate with directors, producers, and other team members to ensure

the final product aligns with the creative vision.

Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely

delivery without compromising on quality.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a video editor, particularly in film promotions and broadcast

content.

Strong knowledge of video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro,

Avid Media Composer).

Proficiency in sound editing and mixing tools (e.g., Pro Tools, Adobe Audition).

Understanding of various video formats, resolutions, and technical specifications for

broadcast.

Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for visual storytelling.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with color grading and visual effects software (e.g., DaVinci Resolve, After

Effects, FCP, Premier pro).

Experience in a fast-paced production environment.

Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.

3-5 years of experience preferable.
