Role Description

We are seeking a Senior Video Editor - Performance & Social for a full-time, on-site role headquartered in Mumbai. This professional will be responsible for editing and producing high-quality videos, executing color grading, incorporating motion graphics, and creating visually engaging content tailored to social media and performance marketing efforts. They will collaborate with creative and marketing teams to deliver impactful and optimized visual projects.

Role Overview

We are looking for a fast, instinctive, performance-focused Video Editor who understands:

  • Short-form attention spans
  • Meta ad hooks
  • Reel pacing
  • Conversion storytelling
  • Clean motion graphics
  • Structured narrative

This role requires someone who can:

  • Think in hooks
  • Edit quickly
  • Build high-converting creatives
  • Script and structure ideas clearly

AI tools are welcome, but creativity and ad instinct matter more.

Key Responsibilities

1. Performance Ad Editing

  • Create high-converting Meta ads (6s / 10s / 15s / 30s)
  • Develop strong hooks in first 23 seconds
  • Edit multiple variations quickly (angle testing)
  • Structure ads as:
  • Hook Problem Solution Benefit CTA

2. Reels & Short-Form Content

  • Edit Instagram reels and YouTube shorts
  • Enhance UGC and influencer videos (even if raw quality is average)
  • Create scroll-stopping short edits with strong rhythm
  • Produce event highlight reels and social content

3. Motion Graphics

  • Clean text animation
  • Product callouts
  • CTAs
  • Simple, elegant After Effects work
  • No heavy VFX required

4. Script & Concept Support

  • Write short hooks
  • Structure performance scripts
  • Translate ideas into visual storytelling
  • Collaborate with marketing team on angles

5. AI (Good to Have)

  • Exposure to AI video tools is a plus
  • Ability to learn AI workflows quickly
  • Comfort experimenting with new tools

AI skill is not mandatory creative instinct is. We can train you to use AI Tools with our team.

Required Skills -

4 to 7 years experience in video editing (D2C / digital preferred). Strong proficiency in:

  • Premiere Pro / Final Cut / DaVinci / After Effects (working knowledge)

Experience editing:

  • Paid ads
  • UGC content
  • Social-first videos
  • Strong sense of pacing and hook structure
  • Ability to produce multiple variations efficiently
