Swarna Bharat TV is a mission-led creative platform telling precise, high-quality stories on Bharat's history, culture, spirituality, and knowledge systems. Our YouTube channel is live with RashtraGaatha, and we're rolling out multiple original shows across formats. We combine research-first writing with cinematic execution and are preparing our originals for wider distribution, including OTT.

The Role:

We're hiring a Senior Video Editor - Lead to own story flow, pacing, and finishing across weekly originals. This is a hands-on role: you will personally cut flagship edits each week while coordinating with motion/AI editors for smooth delivery. Your focus is story, rhythm, structure, and reliable execution.

What you'll do -

1) Edit Leadership & Story

• Lead weekly long-form edits (7–12 min) with strong 0–30s hooks, clear structure, and satisfying closes.

• Plan A/B openings and improve pacing/VO from a retention lens.

2) Planning & Handoffs

• Run a light Edit Board each week: lock sequence, assets, and timelines.

• Keep project files clean (bins, naming, versioning); hand off clearly to motion/AI editors.

3) Packaging & Variants

• Deliver main cut + social pull-outs/teasers; align with thumbnail direction.

• Add temp sound design/music beds and ensure clean final output.

4) Quality & Iteration

• Maintain export discipline (levels, captions, safe titles).

• Turn analytics into one clear improvement in the next cut (hook, pacing, structure).

Must-haves

• 4–8 years editing non-fiction/YouTube long-form content.

• Strong storytelling sense (hooks, retention, structure).

• Hands-on execution: able to independently deliver weekly edits.

• Project hygiene at scale: clean files, consistent exports, structured workflow.

• Cross-functional coordination with motion/AI/design teams.

• Expert in Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve.

• On-site (Vashi); reliable and deadline-driven.

Nice-to-haves

• After Effects (basic): titles, callouts, maps.

• Experience working with structured content pipelines.

• Basic understanding of motion/AI workflows.
