Established in 2015, Buildofy is a subscription-based content platform that showcases interesting Indian architecture projects. We do this primarily through high-quality video films and in-depth eBooks that explain a project's context, spatial experience, and materiality through the lens of design professionals.
We aim to elevate everyone's architectural knowledge and make it a household topic, so the environments we live in tomorrow are better built.
Our films attract a loyal following of 1 million+ subscribers, including homeowners, architects, construction professionals and students PAN India & worldwide.
ROLE
Be a key player in editing architecture films, home tours and semi-documentaries.
Your role will involve editing videos, focusing on transforming raw footage into finished, visually stunning final renders.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Edit video content provided by the architectural journalist, ensuring that the final output aligns with the creative vision.
- Incorporate the content cut into the editing process to create cohesive, compelling stories.
- Collaborate with the filmmaker and founding team to understand the project's goals and deliver high-quality edits.
KEY TASKS
- Assemble and organize raw footage for editing.
- Follow the provided script, screenplay, or outline to craft the video narrative.
- Enhance footage by adding sound, selecting appropriate music, and incorporating voice-overs.
- Integrate graphics and visual effects to elevate the video content.
- Correct and improve lighting, color, and other technical aspects of the footage.
- Ensure the final video is synchronized, polished, and meets the highest standards of quality.
REQUIREMENTS (MUST HAVE)
- A meticulous eye for detail, ensuring every frame is pixel perfect.
- Proficiency in the latest video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Da Vinci.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
- 2-3 years of relevant experience preferred, but talented freshers are welcome to apply.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines.
