Role Overview:
We're looking for a Motion Graphic Designer with a sharp eye for design, a strong grasp of visual storytelling, and a hunger to learn and grow. You'll support our creative team in bringing ideas to life across digital, social, and print platforms. The ideal candidate has a solid design foundation, is eager to build on their skills, and brings a positive, collaborative energy to the table.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and produce 2D motion graphics and animations for videos, social media, advertisements, presentations, and websites.
- Design eye-catching 2D static graphics, including banners, posters, infographics, social media posts, and marketing collateral.
- Collaborate closely with marketing, content, and product teams to understand project objectives and deliver creative solutions.
- Edit and enhance video content to integrate motion graphics smoothly.
- Maintain brand guidelines and ensure consistency across all visual materials.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality.
- Stay updated on design trends, animation techniques, and industry tools to continuously improve content quality.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience (1+ years preferred) as a Motion Graphic Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing motion graphics and 2D design work.
- Proficiency in motion graphics and design software such as Adobe After Effects, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and Premiere Pro or similar.
- Solid understanding of animation principles, typography, color theory, and layout design.
- Strong creative vision with attention to detail and ability to bring ideas to life visually.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines.
What We're Looking For:
- 6 months+ experience in a graphic design role (agency experience is a plus)
- A solid portfolio showcasing creative thinking and execution across digital or print
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign); Figma or Canva is a bonus
- Good understanding of typography, layout, and color theory
- Basic knowledge of motion graphics (After Effects) is a plus, not a must
- A collaborative mindset, strong communication skills, and a keen eye for detail
- Willingness to learn, take initiative, and push your creative limits
Nice-to-Have-
- Exposure to or interest in generative AI tools like MidJourney, Firefly, Chatgpt etc.
- Some familiarity with Branding design and Pitches
- An understanding of basic production processes (for print/digital outputs)
