About the Role
We are looking for a seasoned UI/UX Designer with over 6+ years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Figma and a proven track record in designing user interfaces for the banking and financial services domain. You will be responsible for crafting seamless, secure, and engaging user experiences across digital platforms.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, developers, and business analysts to understand user needs and business goals.
- Design end-to-end user experiences for web and mobile banking applications.
- Create wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs using Figma.
- Conduct user research, persona development, and usability testing to validate design decisions.
- Translate complex financial workflows into intuitive and user-friendly interfaces.
- Ensure designs meet accessibility standards (WCAG) and are responsive across devices.
- Maintain and evolve design systems and component libraries in Figma.
- Analyze user behavior and feedback to continuously improve UX.
- Work closely with development teams to ensure accurate implementation of designs.
- Stay updated with the latest design trends, tools, and best practices in fintech and banking.
- Advocate for user-centered design principles across the organization.
- Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
- Document design guidelines and workflows for internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with QA teams to ensure design quality and consistency post-development.
- Support marketing and branding teams with UI assets when needed.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience in UI/UX design, with a strong portfolio in the banking or fintech domain.
- Expert-level proficiency in Figma, including auto-layout, components, variants, and prototyping.
- Strong understanding of UX principles, design thinking, and user-centered design.
- Experience with user research methodologies and usability testing.
- Familiarity with accessibility standards and responsive design.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
- Understanding of security and compliance requirements in financial applications.
- Experience with tools like Jira, Confluence, Miro, and Adobe Creative Suite.
