We are seeking an experienced Transmission Engineer with strong expertise in electric vehicle (EV) transmission systems and four-wheel-drive (4WD) architectures.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience across design, integration, and

testing of drivetrain systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop EV transmission and drivetrain systems, including gearboxes, differentials, and related subsystems

• Lead and support 4WD / AWD transmission system development, including torque distribution and driveline integration

• Perform mechanical design, layout, and detailing using CAD software (preferably SolidWorks), including 3D modeling, 2D drawings, and GD&T

• Support system-level integration of transmission with e-motors, inverters, axles, and vehicle chassis

• Conduct and support design validation and testing activities, including durability, efficiency, NVH, and thermal performance

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (motor, controls, vehicle integration, manufacturing, suppliers)

• Support prototype build, testing, root cause analysis, and design improvements

• Ensure compliance with automotive standards, design guidelines, and quality requirements

• Interface with suppliers for component development, technical reviews, and issue resolution

• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, DFMEA, design reviews, and test reports

• Train junior engineers and team members and contribute to knowledge management

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field

4-6 years of experience in transmission or drivetrain engineering

• Strong knowledge of EV transmission systems, including single-speed and multi- speed gearboxes

• Proven experience working on 4WD / AWD drivetrain systems

• Hands-on experience in design, integration, and testing of transmission components and systems

• Advanced proficiency in CAD software (preferably SolidWorks)

• Strong understanding of gears, shafts, bearings, housings, lubrication systems

• Experience with prototype development and validation testing
