Job Summary:
We are seeking a seasoned Solution Architect to lead data strategy, architecture, and implementation for large-scale enterprise data warehouse and analytics environments. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in data modeling, ETL, big data technologies, and cloud-based data infrastructure with strong consulting experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and drive the data strategy ensuring program and project alignment
- Lead architecture and design of enterprise data warehouse and analytics solutions
- Provide leadership in data access, integration, modeling, visualization, quality, and metadata management
- Design and implement scalable and efficient database systems using RDBMS and database appliances (e.g., Teradata, Netezza)
- Oversee ETL and data migration using industry-standard tools
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements
- Develop and manage enterprise data management processes and frameworks
- Create metadata strategies, manage data repositories, and implement best practices
- Ensure successful integration of big data technologies with legacy systems
- Drive adoption of cloud technologies and manage hybrid data environments (AWS, Azure)
- Manage data profiling, mapping, and migration activities
- Optimize data processing using tools like Hadoop, MapReduce, Spark (Scala/Python)
- Guide teams on cloud platforms (S3, Redshift, Blob Storage, Presto DB)
