Job Description:
- Develop and execute accurate workday platform test cases as per requirements, analyse results and raise issues within schedules
- Estimation of Testing efforts for Workday Platform applications
- Actively participate in feasibility analysis for Automation of requirements, scope and estimates
- Design Test Automation, Execution and Automation delivery using Selenium, Cucumber, and other similar tools
- Should be involved in the Application feasibility, designing and implementation of Automation framework to the needs of multiple Business platform
- Log defects with right priority, tracking them to closure and understanding the root cause for an issue
- Provide quality assurance estimates for project planning purposes
- Coordinate the Automaton Test workloads to successful release to SIT, E2E, UAT and Production
- Daily, Weekly, and Monthly tracking of the team activities
- Coordinate Automation Testing efforts (interaction/sync with customer, other work streams, offshore execution team)
- Team working & very good communication skills
- Analyse problems reported in production application, identify root causes and communicate results with appropriate stakeholders towards resolution
- Update tasks real-time on Azure DevOps and other tracking tools
Professional Skills
- BS or MS degree in Computer Science Engineering or other related area
- 48 years of experience in QA testing with at least 3+ years in Workday testing.
- 2 + years of experience in automation using Selenium with Java
- Strong understanding of Workday HCM modules such as:
- Core HCM
- Job & Position Management
- Business Process Framework
- Security Roles
- Worker Lifecycle events (Hire, Transfer, Termination, etc.)
- Experience in functional testing, regression testing, and UAT support.
- Experience testing Workday integrations (EIB, Studio, Core Connectors).
- Knowledge of test management tools (JIRA, ALM, Azure DevOps, etc.).
- Ability to analyse requirements and create detailed test scenarios and test cases.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience supporting Workday releases (R1/R2).
- Design functional test scenarios, execute them, log, and track defects to closure.
- Review the Team members Test artifacts and provide suggestions for improvements.
- Should have experience in developing automation framework
- Experience in code reviews with peers
- Experience in sending the daily status emails to stakeholders.
- Should have experience as module lead.
- Strong programming skills and coding knowledge in Java
- Have a strong understanding of software testing concepts and methodologies, including test planning, test case review, test execution, and defect management.
- Have experience working in Agile environments, preferably with experience in Scrum or Kanban methodologies. Be familiar with Agile principles, ceremonies, and practices.
- Excellent communication skills to convey testing progress and status to project stakeholders, including developers, product owners, and management.
- Design Test Automation, Execution and Automation delivery using Selenium, Cucumber, and other similar tools
- Work with the development team to understand the technologies and develop / implement automated testing tools for data comparison and transformation
- Develop test tools, test beds, data mock ups, and other test infrastructure to continuously measure quality through Continuous testing and integration
- Must have a comprehensive understanding of DevOps -CI CD, Jenkins, GIT
- SDLC, Agile Methodology, Waterfall Methodology
- Tools Azure DevOps, JIRA, VSTS etc
- Excellent technical, analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as good written and oral communication skills
