Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced system administrator to oversee the daily operations of our server infrastructure. This role ensuring the stability, security, and performance of all server and relevant infrastructure, and driving continuous improvement in infrastructure operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of servers, storage systems.
- Involve in installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of physical and virtual servers (Windows).
- Design, develop, and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) blueprints for cloud and on-prem environments.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and management for repeatable and auditable deployments using terraform.
- Automate system configurations, application deployments, and routine maintenance tasks through ansible.
- Cloud administration including deployment, configuration, security, and monitoring to ensure reliable, scalable, and cost-effective IT operations in azure.
- Ensure high availability and optimal performance of all server systems and services.
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, file servers, and other core infrastructure services.
- Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions.
- Monitor system performance and proactively address potential issues.
- Collaborate with network, security, and application teams to support business needs.
- Develop and maintain documentation, including SOPs, diagrams, and asset inventories.
- Ensure compliance with IT policies, security standards, and audit requirements.
- Participate in capacity planning and infrastructure scaling initiatives.
- Provide on-call support and manage incident response for critical server issues.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server environments.
- Experience with virtualization platforms (Citrix, Nutanix, VMware, Hyper-V, etc.).
- Knowledge related to ansible, terraform and devops framework.
- Exposure towards infrastructure as code platform.
- Knowledge on azure cloud platform.
- Proficient in scripting (PowerShell, Bash, etc.) for automation.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
