Role Overview

We're looking for a highly experienced Senior System Administrator to own and optimize a complex hybrid infrastructure (on-prem + cloud). This role is crucial for ensuring performance, security, scalability, and high availability in a fast-paced, impact-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities :-

Server & Infrastructure

Manage Windows & Linux servers

Handle virtualization: VMware, Hyper-V, Proxmox

Containerization & Orchestration

Deploy and manage Docker & Kubernetes clusters

Monitoring & Backup

Implement monitoring tools (Prometheus, Zabbix)

Manage backup & DR solutions (Veeam, rsync)

Security & Compliance

OS hardening (BitLocker), firewall management

Patch management & vulnerability assessments

Automation & Scripting

Automate workflows using Bash, PowerShell, Python

Infrastructure automation with Ansible & Terraform

Networking

Manage DNS, DHCP, VPNs & Load Balancers

Support & MDM

Provide remote support

Administer Mobile Device Management (MDM)

Storage Management

Configure RAID, SSD, iSCSI & CEPH storage solutions

Required Technical Skills :-

Operating Systems: Expert in Windows & Linux

Virtualization: VMware / Hyper-V / Proxmox

DevOps: Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Terraform

Security: Patch management & hybrid infra security

Networking: Strong fundamentals & protocols

Automation: Advanced scripting skills

Preferred Qualifications

Database Admin: SQL Server / MySQL / PostgreSQL

Directory Services: AD, LDAP, SSO

Enterprise Tools: Nutanix, Jira, Freshservice

Certifications: RHCE, MCSE, AWS / Azure / GCP

Additional Information :-

Full-time In-Office role in Bengaluru

Weekend / off-hour support may be required for critical operations
