Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement software for various products and systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver new software features
• Debug and resolve software issues, ensuring optimal performance
• Perform performance analysis and optimization of software systems
• Review code/designs and provide constructive feedback
• Mentor junior engineers and ensure successful project delivery
• Interface with multiple departments including Quality and Service
• Recommend and drive process improvements for department efficiency
• Conduct static analysis, code coverage analysis, and verification to ensure quality
• Report business-related issues or opportunities to management
• Perform additional duties as needed

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering/Science or relevant technical field
• 5+ years of experience in REST API-based software development
• 3+ years of experience with React JS, MS SQL/PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ
• Strong proficiency in Java Spring Boot and AWS services (EC2, ECS, S3, IoT, Load Balancer)
• Experience with shell scripting and Linux environments (preferred)
• Hands-on experience with Docker containerization and orchestration
• Understanding of real-time operating systems and hardware (preferred)
• Familiarity with IDEs, debuggers, version control, and peer review tools
• Knowledge of software configuration and defect management tools (e.g., JIRA)
• Prior experience in a regulated industry (e.g., medical devices) preferred
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
