Sr QA Engineer

What You Will Do

• Lead the QA team in developing and executing comprehensive testing strategies, including test estimation, execution, and automation.
• Manage and track testing activities at all stages, from functional testing to end-to-end system testing.
• Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to assess and recommend testing procedures for products and systems.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement in testing practices and advocate for quality across all projects.
• Create and maintain test documentation and reports, ensuring visibility and traceability of testing processes.

How You Will Do It

• Utilize your analytical skills to identify testing needs and develop test cases that cover functional and non-functional requirements.
• Engage in Agile methodologies to plan and execute sprints effectively.
• Oversee the continuous integration and deployment processes, ensuring that quality is maintained throughout.
• Participate in defect tracking and resolution, collaborating with developers to ensure timely fixes.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior QA engineers, fostering professional development within the team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 4 to 7 years of experience in quality assurance or software testing, with a strong understanding of QA methodologies and best practices.
• Proficiency in automated testing tools and frameworks.
• Experience with SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.
