About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer to design and build scalable backend systems that power our AI and low-code platform ecosystem. You will work closely with product, frontend, and DevOps teams to architect robust APIs, data services, and platform components capable of handling enterprise-scale workloads. This role requires strong backend engineering expertise, system design capabilities, and experience building high-performance, scalable distributed systems.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs.
- Architect robust backend systems to support enterprise-grade applications and automation workflows.
- Build and optimize microservices-based architectures.
- Develop RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs for internal and external integrations.
- Work with databases (SQL/NoSQL) to ensure data consistency, performance, and scalability.
- Collaborate with frontend engineers, product managers, and DevOps teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Ensure high availability, performance, and security of backend systems.
- Implement logging, monitoring, and observability for backend services.
- Participate in code reviews and mentor junior engineers.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and technical roadmap planning.
Qualifications
- 58+ years of experience in backend development.
- Strong proficiency in Node.js or Go.
- Experience designing RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Solid understanding of system design, distributed systems, and scalable architectures.
- Experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis, etc.).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Strong knowledge of authentication, authorization, and security best practices.
- Proficiency in Git and modern development workflows.
Preferred Skills
- Experience building platform products or developer platforms.
- Exposure to AI/ML platforms or LLM-based systems.
- Experience working with low-code or automation platforms.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Experience with high-throughput systems and performance optimization.
