Role Summary
As a Senior Software Development Engineer, your responsibilities would typically include overseeing the design and implementation of user interfaces, collaborating with cross-functional teams, ensuring UI consistency ,Create, maintain, and provide production support for critical enterprise applications used by the Digital Channels team.Provide code reviews, training, and guidance for junior developers.Accurately estimate deliverable timelines.Understand complex business requirements into functional code.Write automated unit, integration, and e2e tests.Communicate effectively with leadership, business partners and vendors
Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To
- Determining feasibility & scalability of front-end solutions, interacting with business and product owners in order to define technical solutions for customer problems
- Production issue triage, management, and prevention as needed
- Technical definition and implementation for analytics, error logging/tracking, and other key functional customer interactions
- Design reviews for feasibility, tech design, and impact analysis
- Develop sustainable, accessibility compliant solutions
- Long term technical debt resolutions, debt prevention & code reviews
- Analysis and implementation of Performance/Stability/Reliability/Architecture initiatives
- Research & Development of POCs & innovative new ideas for customer interactions with Delta
- Assisting in defining alternate solutions for the business problems and providing estimates for potential new workstreams
- Creating a learning culture by establishing, sharing, and enforcing best practices and lessons learned
What You Need To Succeed (Minimum Qualifications)
- BS/MS, preferably in a technical or scientific field.
- 4-7 years of experience in an Agile environment, or any equivalent combination of experience, education, and/or training
- Expert Level development experience in a professional capacity using J2EE, XML, Struts, Spring, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS, Angular (Angular 10+), Nodejs , APIs, Oracle, and expanding into NoSQL database.
- Expert Level development experience in Typescript
- Hands on Development and Exposure to AWS
- Experience in API Gateways, Lambda
- Design thinking, Focus on Test Driven Development, Embedded Security
- Knowledge with Gitlab, Containers, Kubernetes, RedHat OpenShift, Nexus, Github, version1, or related technologies.
