About The Team /role Overview
This role is responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of full stack applications and shared platform services deployed on AWS. The position operates as a senior contributor within the team, combining hands on development with strong engineering practices, test automation awareness, and operational excellence.
The Senior Full Stack Developer will work closely with product, platform, QE, and operations teams to deliver scalable, secure, and observable solutions. While the primary focus is full stack development, the role requires practical exposure to automation testing, dashboards, analytics, and cloud native DevOps patterns to support data driven decision making and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain cloud native full stack applications using modern frontend and backend technologies, with a focus on clean, maintainable, secure, and well documented code.
- Build and consume RESTful APIs and microservices deployed on AWS, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Participate across the entire application lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
- Collaborate with architects, product owners, QE, and other developers to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.
- Contribute to automation testing efforts, including development and maintenance of unit, API, integration, and contract tests to ensure high code quality and regression coverage.
- Support the development and integration of dashboards and analytics to provide visibility into application health, operational metrics, and system usage.
- Participate in CI/CD pipeline development and maintenance, enabling automated builds, tests, deployments, and quality gates.
- Apply DevSecOps best practices, including secure coding standards, dependency management, and proactive risk identification.
- Assist with steady state operations, troubleshooting production issues, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure applications are optimized for performance, scalability, and mobile friendly UI/UX where applicable.
- Participate in code reviews, promoting best practices, coding standards, and knowledge sharing within the team.
- Analyze problems effectively, provide accurate effort estimates, and deliver milestones within committed timelines.
- Create and maintain technical documentation covering design, deployment, operational procedures, and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with global teams across time zones to support delivery, integration, and operational objectives.
What You Need To Succeed (Minimum Qualifications)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 4 years of IT experience with strong hands-on full stack software development experience.
- Solid understanding of modern application architectures, including microservices and API driven systems.
- Experience with frontend development using Angular, React, or similar frameworks.
- Backend development experience using Java, TypeScript or Python.
- Hands on experience with AWS cloud services, including compute, storage, networking, and monitoring.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Git based source control platforms (GitHub, GitLab, or similar).
- Working knowledge of automated testing frameworks and practices (unit, API, integration testing).
- Familiarity with dashboards and analytics concepts, including application metrics and operational reporting.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery models.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross functional teams.Consistent commitment to safety,

What Will Give You a Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications)
- Experience implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools such as AWS CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, CodeCommit, CodePipeline, or equivalent Git based CI/CD platforms
- Experience developing and maintaining test automation tools and frameworks for unit, contract, API, integration, and web/UI testing.
- Experience in designing, building, and deploying multi layered application architectures across on premises and AWS cloud environments using services such as EC2, ECS, S3, VPC, RDS, SQS, ELB, Auto Scaling, CloudFront, CloudFormation, ElastiCache, CloudWatch, and SNS.
- Strong understanding of cloud computing models (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS) and hands on implementation experience using AWS and container platforms such as OpenShift.
- Proficiency across multiple frontend and backend technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, Angular or React, Java, Python, and Node.js.
- Hands on experience working in Agile delivery environments, supporting multiple applications and releases.
- Proven ability to set up and maintain CI pipelines for new branches and releases while ensuring stability, dependency management, and seamless integration with existing pipelines.
- Exposure to resolving build, deployment, and dependency issues in complex, enterprise scale systems.
- Curiosity to learn new technologies and continuously improve engineering practices.
