Job Description

The SAP GTS Functional Consultant will implement, configure, and support SAP Global Trade Services (GTS) modules to enable trade compliance, customs management, and risk management. The consultant will work on integration with SAP SD/MM and external systems, troubleshoot GTS processes, and support global trade operations.

Key Responsibilities

Configure and implement SAP GTS modules including Compliance Management, Customs Management, and Risk Management.
Set up legal control, embargo checks, sanction party list (SPL) screening, and license determination.
Configure customs processes, including import/export declarations and electronic filing with authorities.
Integrate SAP GTS with SAP SD/MM and external systems for trade compliance.
Provide L2/L3 support for GTS processes and resolve issues related to customs and compliance.
Conduct unit, integration, and UAT testing for GTS scenarios.
Support cutover activities and post-go-live stabilization.
Prepare technical documentation and provide end-user training.
Map business requirements to SAP GTS configuration and functional specifications, and guide technical design and ABAP debugging where necessary.
Monitor IDOCs and Jobs, resolving issues as they arise to ensure smooth operations.

Required Skills and Experience

Strong functional expertise in SAP GTS Compliance Management (SPL Screening, Embargo, Legal Control, Product Classification).
Hands-on experience in SAP GTS Customs Management (Export/Import Declarations, Inward Process, Transit, Bonded Warehouse, Electronic Filing).
Knowledge of SAP GTS Trade Preference Management.
Experience integrating GTS with SAP ECC/S4HANA and external systems.
Ability to translate business requirements into functional specifications and technical design; basic ABAP debugging skills.
Experience in IDOC monitoring, job management, and test script preparation.
