Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced SAP CPI (Cloud Platform Integration) Consultant with strong integration and middleware expertise. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing, developing, and supporting SAP CPI/iPaaS integrations across SAP and non-SAP systems. The role involves working closely with functional, technical, and business teams to deliver high-quality integration solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement SAP CPI integration flows (iFlows) using CPI standard adapters, mappings, and transformations.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical integration specifications.
- Integrate SAP S/4HANA, SAP SuccessFactors, SAP Ariba, SAP ECC or other cloud/on-premise systems using SAP CPI.
- Work on message mappings (XML, JSON, XSLT, Groovy scripting) and API-based integrations.
- Perform end-to-end integration testing, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
- Collaborate with SAP functional teams for solution design and issue resolution.
- Support existing CPI interfaces and resolve incidents within SLAs.
- Maintain technical documentation, interface catalogs, and integration landscape diagrams.
- Ensure compliance with integration and security standards across projects.
- Work in Agile/Scrum environments for timely delivery of integration components.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 58 years of hands-on experience in SAP CPI (Cloud Platform Integration / SAP Integration Suite).
- Strong expertise in SAP CPI iFlow development, adapters (HTTP, OData, SOAP, SFTP, REST, IDoc), and message mappings.
- Good understanding of SAP BTP Integration Suite components (CPI, API Management, Event Mesh).
- Experience with Groovy scripting, XSLT, JSON, XML, and SOAP/REST APIs.
- Knowledge of SAP business processes (O2C, P2P, HR Integration, etc.).
- Familiarity with integration patterns, security protocols (OAuth, SSL, certificates), and error-handling frameworks.
- Experience integrating SAP with non-SAP applications (Salesforce, Workday, third-party systems).
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with SAP PI/PO migration to CPI.
- Exposure to SAP Event Mesh and API Management.
- Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) or CI/CD tools (Git, Jenkins).
- SAP CPI Certification (preferred).
