Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced SAP Senior Full-Stack Development Consultant to lead SAP S/4HANA development initiatives as part of an in-house expert SAP team. The ideal candidate will have strong ABAP, SAP UI5, and Fiori expertise with proven experience in leading large development teams, managing vendors/partners, ensuring governance, and maintaining high-quality SAP deliverables across the S/4HANA landscape.
This role involves end-to-end technical leadership for SAP S/4HANA implementations, ensuring compliance with SAP best practices and alignment with the latest SAP recommendations, while working closely with internal teams and third-party service providers throughout the program lifecycle and post go-live phase.
Key Skills (Mandatory)
- 10+ years of hands-on SAP development experience
- Strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA full-stack development
- Advanced ABAP on HANA development with best practices
- SAP UI5 & SAP Fiori configuration and custom development
- Experience with WRICEF objects:
- Reports (ALV)
- Interfaces (File-based, IDOC, SOAP APIs, ALE)
- Enhancements (User Exits, Customer Exits, BADI, BTE, Enhancement Framework)
- Forms (Smart Forms, Adobe Forms, Fragments)
- Conversions (Migration Cockpit)
- Strong experience with OData services, CDS Views
- Knowledge of SAP BTP offerings:
- RAP (Restful ABAP Programming Model)
- CAP programming
- Business services and reports
- Experience extending standard SAP Fiori applications
- Expertise in Fiori Elements & Standard Floorplans
- SAP Fiori Launchpad configuration (Catalogs, Groups, Pages, Spaces)
- SAP Role mapping for Fiori Apps
- Experience with BRF+ and related frameworks
- Strong understanding of SAP functional business processes
- Experience supporting S/4HANA upgrades
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience working in multinational environments
Responsibilities
- Act as SAP Development Lead for SAP S/4HANA implementations
- Lead and govern SAP development teams (internal & vendor-managed)
- Ensure all developments adhere to SAP best practices and standards
- Review and approve technical designs and functional specifications
- Oversee quality, performance, and maintainability of SAP developments
- Provide technical guidance for ABAP, UI5, Fiori, and BTP developments
- Review code and ensure compliance with performance and security standards
- Manage and resolve complex technical issues across landscapes
- Ensure continuous improvement of SAP solutions post go-live
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external service providers
- Review business process designs and provide technical feedback
- Drive performance optimization and future-ready SAP solutions
Qualifications
- BE / BTech or equivalent IT degree
- 712+ years in a similar SAP technical leadership role
- Proven experience managing both small and large development teams
