Postion Overview
We are seeking a Senior Salesforce Engineer with deep expertise in AppExchange package creation, Agentforce implementation, and MuleSoft integrations to help build next-generation, AI-powered CRM ecosystems for higher education institutions. This individual will play a key role in bringing EDMO's intelligent automation platform to life within the Salesforce ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy complex Salesforce applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Flow Builder.
- Own the full lifecycle of AppExchange-managed package development, including code modularization, namespace management, packaging, versioning, and security review submission.
- Implement and optimize Agentforce-based solutions to extend Salesforce with intelligent, autonomous process automation.
- Architect MuleSoft integration frameworks to connect Salesforce with AI engines, SIS systems, and external partner platforms.
- Ensure industry-grade compliance and data security in Salesforce apps including CRUD/FLS rules, sharing models, and Apex security best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business logic into scalable, AI-enhanced CRM flows.
- Mentor junior developers, enforce coding standards, and champion technical best practices across the team.
- Drive CI/CD automation, use of DevOps tools, and maintain robust version control practices using Git and pipelines.
Required Qualification
- 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.
- Must have: Proven experience in Salesforce AppExchange package creation and successful navigation of Salesforce AppExchange Security Review.
- Must have: Hands-on experience with Agentforce frameworks, intelligent workflow design, and skill orchestration within Salesforce.
- Strong experience integrating Salesforce with external systems using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, REST/SOAP APIs, or event-driven middleware.
- Expert-level proficiency in Apex, LWC, SOQL/SOSL, and Salesforce platform architecture.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce security model, sharing rules, and data governance.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Salesforce DevOps Center or similar tooling.
- Certifications: Platform Developer I & II (required); MuleSoft Developer or Architect certifications preferred.
Preferred Qualification
- Experience with ISV/Managed Package development or similar AppExchange product lifecycles.
- Familiarity with AI/ML integration in Salesforce, including Einstein or external AI APIs.
- Exposure to education technology, higher-ed CRM, or SIS integrations (e.g., Slate, Ellucian, Banner, PeopleSoft).
- Understanding of data compliance frameworks (FERPA, SOC 2).
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, including working with US-based teams and clients.
