Role Description
This is an on-site, full-time role based in Kolkata for a Senior Sales Manager. The candidate will oversee the sales operations, generate leads, develop strategies to achieve sales targets, and identify new business opportunities, visit customers. Responsibilities include building and maintaining strong client relationships, managing the sales team for optimal performance, providing technical insights about products, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The role also includes staying updated with market trends and presenting competitive solutions to clients.
Qualifications
- Proven skills in Sales Management, Client Acquisition, and Business Development
- Strong knowledge in the domains of scientific equipment such as Photovoltaics, Spectroscopy, Electrochemistry, and other related fields
- Proficiency in Team Leadership, Coordination, and Performance Monitoring
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain client relationships
- Analytical thinking and market research capabilities to identify new opportunities and drive growth
- Experience in after-sales support and technical service would be an advantage
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field
- Previous experience in scientific equipment sales is highly preferred
- experience in onsite customer visits in all R&D labs in major university , industries etc
