Mantras2success Consultants is seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Sales Manager to lead and drive our sales operations in the Rest of Maharashtra region. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the steel industry, with proven expertise in managing large territories and consistently driving revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Sales Leadership: Develop and implement robust regional sales strategies to achieve ambitious business objectives, with a strong focus on increasing market share and revenue.
- Steel Industry Expertise: Leverage deep understanding of the steel market, TMT bars, or related products to identify lucrative opportunities and strategically expand the customer base.
- Team Management: Lead, mentor, and effectively manage a team of sales professionals, ensuring consistent high performance and continuous professional development.
- Market Penetration: Drive significant sales growth by building and nurturing strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and other key stakeholders within the steel industry.
- Revenue Target Achievement: Consistently meet and exceed sales and revenue targets by optimizing team performance and enhancing customer engagement strategies.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term, mutually beneficial relationships with clients, ensuring exceptional service and high retention rates.
- Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and evolving customer needs, providing actionable insights.
- Operational Coordination: Collaborate seamlessly with supply chain, marketing, and product teams to ensure the smooth and efficient execution of regional sales plans.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in sales, specifically within the steel industry (TMT, long products, or allied sectors preferred).
- Market Knowledge: Strong understanding of the Maharashtra market, with a proven track record in regional or zonal sales management.
- Leadership Skills: Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Analytical Ability: Demonstrated ability to analyze market data, accurately forecast demand, and make data-driven decisions.
- Software Proficiency: Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office Suite.
- Travel: Willingness to travel extensively across the Rest of the Maharashtra region.
