Senior Sales & Marketing Executive
Industry: Battery OEM | Renewable Energy Systems | Energy Storage Solutions
Location: HSR Layout, Bangalore - 6 days a week (with domestic & international travel)

1. Role Summary
The Senior Sales & Marketing Executive or Chief Sales Officer will drive revenue growth by identifying, onboarding, and managing distributors, channel partners, and direct enterprise customers across India and international markets.
This role requires strong technical understanding of battery technologies (Lithium-ion, Lead Acid, ESS), renewable energy systems, and the ability to consult, pitch, and close deals with high-value customers for the following products:
- Autocare Washing Kits
- SOURCE Hybrid Inverters
- Portable Lithium Batteries
- EV Components & Drive Systems
- Other AMEC Advanced Technology OEM Solutions
2. Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Business Development
- Identify and acquire new distributors, channel partners, EPCs, OEM integrators, and large direct customers in India and overseas.
- Expand presence in key regions: Middle East, Africa, Southeast Asia, Europe, and other emerging markets.
- Develop and implement territory-wise and segment-wise sales strategies for growth.
- Generate and manage a robust sales pipeline across OEM, industrial, commercial, mobility, telecom, and renewable segments.
- Conduct customer visits, product demos, technical presentations, and negotiate commercial proposals.
- Work closely with internal teams (Technical, Production, Logistics, Finance) to ensure smooth execution of orders.
Distributor & Channel Development
- Scout, evaluate, and onboard high-potential distributors and channel partners.
- Ensure strong partner performance through training, pricing strategies, marketing support, and periodic reviews.
- Build annual business plans with distributors and drive achievement of monthly & quarterly targets.
- Monitor channel inventory, sales cycles, and market feedback to optimize performance.
Marketing & Brand Growth
- Lead marketing initiatives to increase brand presence across domestic and international markets.
- Collaborate on digital marketing, technical collateral, brochures, case studies, trade fairs, and exhibitions.
- Track competitors, pricing, product launches, and evolving market trends in battery and renewable energy sectors.
- Build and execute go-to-market (GTM) strategies for new regions and new product lines.
Customer Relationship Management
- Maintain strong relationships with key accounts, government bodies, tendering authorities, and EPC players.
- Manage the complete sales cycle — lead generation, negotiation, contracting, delivery, and after-sales follow-up.
- Resolve customer concerns by coordinating with service and technical teams.
Insights & Reporting
- Provide regular sales forecasts, performance reports, competitor analysis, and market intelligence to leadership.
- Track and improve KPIs including:
- Revenue
- Margins
- Territory growth
- Distributor productivity
- Repeat business
- Conversion rates
3. Required Skills & ExperienceExperience
- 4+ years in Sales/Business Development in Battery OEM, Energy Storage, Renewable Energy Systems, Solar EPC, Power Electronics, EV, or Industrial Power sectors.
- Proven experience managing international markets or global distributors.
- Strong record of achieving monthly/quarterly sales targets and expanding new markets.
- Proven track record of closing large-volume B2B deals worth ₹20 Cr – ₹50 Cr.
- Experience with industrial products, energy systems, power electronics, EV components, or hardware technology.
- Strong network with procurement heads, decision-makers, corporate buyers, OEMs, and institutional clients.
Technical Knowledge
- Understanding of battery technologies (Li-ion, LFP, NMC, VRLA, Lead Acid).
- Knowledge of solar energy systems, inverters, ESS, BESS, DG-Hybrid solutions, or power backup systems.
- Ability to explain technical specifications, performance parameters, and application fitment to customers.

- Proposal drafting and strong commercial acumen.
- High energy, self-driven, and willing to travel domestically and internationally.
- Ability to build long-term relationships and manage key accounts.

- Strong understanding of sales funnels, enterprise procurement, and export trade processes.
- Ability to communicate with CEOs, CXOs, defense officials, government bodies, and global buyers.
- Strong presentation skills, proposal drafting, and commercial acumen.
- Multi-market adaptability (India, GCC, Africa, EU preferred).
4. Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical preferred) or Business.
- MBA in Sales/Marketing is a plus.
- Strong proficiency with CRM tools, MS Office, and digital communication platforms.
