Job Role:

A Sponsorship Sales Manager for live events secures corporate funding by identifying, pitching, and closing deals with brands to sponsor concerts, IP events, or experiential marketing campaigns. Key responsibilities include creating customized sponsorship proposals, achieving revenue targets, building long-term brand relationships, and ensuring on-site delivery of sponsor commitments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospecting & Sales: Lead end-to-end sales, from identifying potential sponsors to closing high-value deals.
  • Pitching & Proposal Development: Create compelling, customized, and value-driven sponsorship decks that align with brand objectives.
  • Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with corporates, agencies, and key decision-makers.
  • Target Achievement: Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sponsorship revenue targets.
  • Event Integration: Collaborate with marketing and production teams to execute brand activations, ensuring all on-site sponsorship deliverables are met.
  • Market Analysis: Keep abreast of industry trends in entertainment and sponsorship to identify new opportunities.

Requirements & Qualifications

Experience: 512 years in sponsorship sales, preferably within live entertainment, concerts, or media.

Skills: Exceptional negotiation, communication, presentation, and networking skills.

Knowledge: Strong understanding of brand marketing, experiential activation, and digital media trends.

Education: Master's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.

Role Type: Often requires a hunter mentality with the ability to work independently.

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a relevant field
