Job Description

Job Title: Senior Recruiter – Accounting (India Hiring)

Location: Ahmedabad

Experience: 4–6 Years

About the Role

We are looking for a highly driven and target-oriented Senior Recruiter to lead hiring for accounting and finance roles across levels (Analyst to Manager). The ideal candidate will have strong experience in the Indian hiring market, with a proven track record of managing end-to-end recruitment in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment lifecycle for accounting roles, from sourcing to onboarding
  • Handle hiring across levels including Analysts, Senior Analysts, AMs, and Managers
  • Screen, evaluate, and shortlist candidates based on role fitment and business requirements
  • Conduct initial HR discussions and coordinate interviews with hiring managers
  • Ensure a strong pipeline through job portals, referrals, and proactive sourcing
  • Maintain candidate engagement and ensure a smooth candidate experience
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand hiring needs and timelines
  • Track and report recruitment metrics on a daily and weekly basis

Target & Performance Metrics

This is a highly target-driven role, and performance will be measured on:

  • Monthly Joiner Target: 14+ hires per recruiter (team target: 50+ monthly)
  • Daily Metrics:Number of candidate calls/interactions
  • Profiles screened and shared
  • Assessments/test links sent
  • Offers rolled out
  • Conversion Ratios: From screening to selection to joining
  • Offer-to-Join Ratio & Dropout Management

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 4–6 years of experience in recruitment, preferably in Accounting/Finance hiring
  • Strong understanding of the Indian talent market for accounting roles
  • Experience working in a target-driven / high-volume hiring environment
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to assess candidate fitment beyond resumes
  • Strong sourcing and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in using job portals and recruitment tools
