Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Modern Trade Manager located in Ahmedabad. The Modern Trade Manager will be responsible for managing relationships with key accounts, overseeing operations within the modern trade channel, and identifying opportunities for business growth. The role involves developing and executing sales plans, ensuring proper merchandising, managing inventory levels, and monitoring market trends. Additionally, the manager will collaborate closely with internal teams to align marketing strategies and ensure customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in modern trade management, sales planning, and customer relationship management
- Experience in inventory management and merchandising strategies
- Strong analytical skills to measure and interpret market trends
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams effectively
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in modern trade or relevant sales roles
- Comfortable working on-site in Ahmedabad and capable of managing multiple accounts
- Knowledge of relevant tools and software for sales and inventory management is a plus
