Key Responsibilities

As a Senior QA Engineer, you will:

• Test Automation Development: Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver.
• Requirements Translation: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into effective test cases.
• CI/CD Support: Support Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD) processes by integrating automated tests.
• Analysis & Reporting: Analyze and document test results, report bugs, and collaborate with the development team to resolve identified issues.
• Traceability: Maintain traceability between test cases and requirements to ensure comprehensive coverage.
• Testing Strategy: Contribute to performance and regression testing strategies.
• Domain-Specific Testing: Apply knowledge of claims processing in the insurance domain to improve test coverage and scenario realism.
• Test Data Management: Assist in creating and maintaining test data for automated testing.
• Agile Participation: Participate actively in code reviews, sprint planning, and other Agile ceremonies.

Mandatory Skills & Experience

Technical Proficiency:

• Selenium WebDriver:3+ years of experience in QA Automation, specifically with Selenium WebDriver.
• Java: Proficient in Java programming language.
• DOM Identification: Strong knowledge in element DOM identification.
• BDD: Good understanding of BDD (Behavior-Driven Development) principles.
• Page Factory: Strong knowledge in Page Factory design pattern.
• QA Methodologies: Strong understanding of QA methodologies, test planning, and test case design.
• DevOps Tools: Hands-on experience with tools like JIRA, Azure DevOps, TestNG, Maven, Git, Jenkins, etc.

Domain & Methodology:

• In-depth understanding of insurance industry processes and terminology, particularly claims processing.
• Experience working in Agile Scrum environments.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Essential Professional Skills

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with API testing tools like Postman or Rest Assured.
• Familiarity with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber.
• Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter).
• ISTQB or other QA certifications.
• Experience with cloud-based testing tools or environments (e.g., AWS, Azure DevOps).
