Job Description:**
You will be the part of data migration team leading the testing team. Responsible for the understanding the existing ETL process, data ingestion, test strategy for the migration project including one time migrtion, daily sync up, code change verification, defect report, test plan, and QA sign off.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Understanding the existing ecosystem of the data being migrated
- Prepare test strategy, test plan for the migration plan (Data & ETL)
- Prepare automated testing framework along with developers
- Define test scenarios and prepare test data
- Perform and guide the testing team for the QA
- Collaborate with the team members, clients for successful implementation and QA sign off of the project.
- Analyse any data or code related issues for root cause.
**Requirements:**
- 5 - 6 years of hands-on experience working with Ab Initio and manual testing
- A>I GDE, Control Centre, EME, C>Op
- Strong understanding of generic frameworks in A>I, parameterization in graphs, psets, plans, et.al.
- Strong understanding of xml, xfr, MD Hub for data lineage, data quality.
- Understanding of SQL, ETL processes, and data migration.
- Database include - Cloudera, Oracle, Snowflake, other partition database.
- Familiarity with Unix shell scripts.
- Familiarity with AWS
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
