Role Overview:
The Senior Project Manager (Infrastructure & Integration Services) is a client-facing Professional Services delivery role responsible for leading and managing large-scale infrastructure modernization, integration, and transformation initiatives for external enterprise customers.
This role requires a strong background in Professional Services delivery, combined with broad technical understanding across infrastructure domains. The position does not involve direct people management; instead, success is driven through delivery leadership, cross-functional coordination, governance, and mentorship.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end delivery of large infrastructure modernization, integration, and transformation programs for enterprise clients
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring alignment on scope, timelines, deliverables, risks, and expectations
- Drive project governance, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure using industry-standard methodologies
- Collaborate with solution architects, engineering teams, vendors, and client stakeholders to ensure successful delivery outcomes
- Manage project financials including budgeting, forecasting, billing, and margin control
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies proactively
- Ensure compliance with contractual commitments, SLAs, and quality standards
- Provide delivery leadership and mentorship to project team members and junior project managers
- Drive continuous improvement in delivery processes, tools, and best practices
- Support pre-sales and transition activities by providing delivery inputs, estimates, and execution strategies as required
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 16–20 years of overall experience, with significant exposure to Professional Services delivery
- Proven experience managing large, complex infrastructure programs for external enterprise customers
- Strong understanding of infrastructure domains such as:
- Data Centers
- Cloud (Private, Public, Hybrid)
- Network & Security
- End User Computing
- Platforms, OS, and Middleware
- Solid experience in infrastructure modernization, migration, integration, and transformation initiatives
- Strong client engagement, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Demonstrated ability to lead through influence, coordination, and mentorship rather than direct authority
- Hands-on experience with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid)
- Excellent risk management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Certifications (Preferred):
- PMP®, PRINCE2®, or equivalent project management certification
- ITIL® Foundation or higher
- Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP) – desirable
