The Senior Project Manager plays a critical role in leading end-to-end project delivery for technical and operational initiatives. This position serves as the central point of coordination across product, engineering, and cross-functional teams, ensuring that projects are planned, executed, and delivered in alignment with business goals. The role requires exceptional leadership, communication, and strategic problem-solving skills, with a strong emphasis on SaaS implementation, stakeholder alignment, risk management, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate drives outcomes, promotes accountability, and builds predictable, scalable project practices that enable high-quality product delivery.
Responsibilities
- Lead the full end-to-end project lifecycle from initiation through planning, execution, and delivery for technical and operational projects.
- Partner with product, engineering, and cross-functional stakeholders to define scope, deliverables, and timelines.
- Develop and manage project and milestone plans that provide visibility, alignment, and predictable delivery outcomes.
- Facilitate cross-functional meetings, working sessions, and status checkpoints to maintain alignment and accountability.
- Monitor schedule, scope, resource allocation, and risk to ensure efficient and timely delivery.
- Identify risks, blockers, and dependencies early; develop mitigation strategies and escalate as needed to drive resolution.
- Create and deliver executive-level reports, dashboards, and status updates that communicate progress, risk, and impact.
- Drive continuous improvement through retrospectives, process refinement, and adoption of best practices that enhance SDLC efficiency.
- Contribute to the development of PM standards, tools, and processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 8+ years of project management experience, preferably in SaaS, software development, or digital product environments.
- Demonstrated experience managing projects using Agile, Scrum, Waterfall or hybrid methodologies.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive alignment across diverse stakeholder groups.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills with the ability to balance competing priorities.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, including experience collaborating with clients and presenting to executive leadership.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity, identify risks early, and drive solutions proactively.
- Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Trello, Smartsheet) and project reporting frameworks.
- Professional certifications (PMP, CSM, etc.) are a plus.
- Candidates must be flexible and work during US hours at least till 5 pm EST, which is essential for this role & must also have their own system/work setup for remote work.
