We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to help accelerate our industry-leading Driver Safety/Fleet Management Software. Our products manage massive amounts of data collected from vehicles worldwide. We use data and video to derive intelligent insights using Video Telematics, Machine Vision and AI for all devices and vehicles on the network. In this role you will help drive the product strategy, roadmap, and execution for Lytx's video telematics cloud technology line of business. We drive engagement with customers, internal partners, and engineering teams to identify market opportunities to secure and align product portfolio investments. Doesn't that sound exciting
You'll Get To
- Analyze market segments, customer needs, competition and key industry trends. Seek out and incorporate input from customers, client services and other customer-facing teams.
- Work with strategic leaders to define and create a product strategy and longer-term product roadmap for your assigned product area.
- Propose and define key new capabilities and functionality which provide strong customer value, competitive advantage and long-term profitability.
- Develop business cases and market requirements for key new capabilities, including business objectives, how we win and competitive differentiators, product positioning, performance expectations, financials and timeline.
- Work with designers, product development teams and technical writers to develop new functionality
- Rapidly prototype, deploy and test new solutions in the market.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and R&D to gather requirements for future releases and feedback on current releases.
- Understand how customers and users leverage platforms to streamline their business processes.
What You'll Need
- Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. An MBA is a plus.
- 5 to 8 years of core Product Management experience, preferably with SaaS, cloud services, APIs and/or IOT.
- Strong understanding of REST API design principles and best practices, with experience in designing, implementing, and managing APIs for cloud-based applications and services.
- Proven track record of successfully integrating third-party applications and services into cloud-based IoT platforms, leveraging APIs, webhooks, and middleware solutions.
- Experience in building data products and/or data platforms
- Knowledge of security and compliance requirements for cloud based IoT solutions, including data encryption, access controls, and regulatory certifications (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate customer needs and market insights into actionable product strategies and roadmaps.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Strong customer orientation and proven experience building products that meet customer needs and organizational goals.
- Passion for innovation, technology, and making a positive impact on society using IoT and cloud-based solutions.
- Knowledge of lean and agile software development methodologies.
- Experience working in the transportation, logistics, or automotive after-market industry is a definite plus.
