Job Description

The Opportunity

As an LFP Senior Product Engineer, you will contribute to the development of Agratas LFP Strategy whilst developing deep technical knowledge of the Agratas LFP cell portfolio. You will play a key role in the implementation of our existing product lineup, contributing to the industrialisation of products through delivering into programme gateways, ensuring our solutions remain competitive in the market serving our customers.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

  • Act as the go-to expert on our LFP products, particularly for the passenger vehicle sector
  • Provide technical leadership of LFP cell technology during internal and customer meetings.
  • Contribute to the development of test plans and validation strategies tailored to product-specific requirements.
  • Support programme gateways by delivering engineering documentation.
  • Benchmark Agratas products against market competitors to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with design, validation teams to drive project outcomes.
  • Work directly with pack integration and commercial teams to ensure successful product implementation to meet customer requirements.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Essential

  • In-depth knowledge of lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery technology and its applications. Preferably passenger vehicle sector.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable insights.
  • Experience in battery cell validation, integration, or product development.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to disseminate ideas across technical and commercial domains.

Desired

  • Experience in a technical role within a tier 1 battery manufacturer
  • Experience with analysis of lithium iron phosphate commercial cells
  • Understanding and use of PLM systems for engineering delivery

Role Specific Qualifications/Certifications

Engineering or Science Degree

Leadership skills

Exhibit leadership through ownership and delivery of high quality technical work with urgency. Work effectively and conscientiously together with others in a fast moving and dynamic team.
