Care Operations is CareHub's operational backbonethe infrastructure, tools, and automation that connect members to the right care teams and support Member Operations, Demand Enablement, and Licensing & Credentialing. Your work will help evolve Care Ops into an industry-grade Practice Management solution that empowers operational teams, care team managers, QA, and L&D with data-driven insights and streamlined workflows.
In this role, you'll design experiences that transform fragmented, manual workflows into a unified, modern platform. You'll tackle complex operational challengesfrom member assignment and workload balancing to compliance managementcreating interfaces that enable teams to work efficiently at scale without adding overhead.
You'll be based in Bengaluru and reporting to a Design Manager who partners closely with Product and Engineering leadership. This is a high-impact opportunity at a pivotal time in Hinge Health's growth our business is thriving, our member base continues to expand, and the design decisions you make in CareHub will directly influence how we deliver exceptional care at scale.
What You'll Accomplish
- Design for operational excellence: Create intuitive workflows for Member Operations to process applications, manage reviews, and handle transitionsreducing manual effort and context switching.
- Enable scalable care delivery: Design tools for Demand Enablement to optimize care team utilization, forecast capacity, and balance workloads.
- Simplify complex systems: Transform fragmented workflows across Admin Panel, Slack, and other tools into streamlined, role-based CareHub experiences.
- Support compliance: Design efficient interfaces for managing PT licenses, credentials, and compliance requirements.
- Champion design quality: Ensure solutions meet high visual and interaction design standards while maintaining consistency with CareHub's design system.
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in product design, collaborating directly with Product and Engineering teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Interaction Design, Industrial Design, Product Design, Service Design, HumanComputer Interaction, or equivalent practical experience.
- Portfolio demonstrating end-to-end ownership of product design work, including examples of shipped or in-market products that show both interaction and visual design capabilities.
- Experience applying visual design principles including layout, iconography, and typography to create cohesive and accessible interfaces.
- Proficiency in prototyping tools and methods to test, validate, and communicate design intent.

- 0 to 1 mindset you're comfortable navigating ambiguity, partnering closely with product and engineering teammates to make decisions quickly, learn from them, and iterate. You aren't afraid to put something out there to get rapid feedback.
- Design thinker for complex systems you're energized by thorny user needs, workflow inefficiencies, and opportunities to modernize legacy tools
- AI curiosity you actively explore how emerging tools like generative AI can enhance workflows, creativity, or product experiences
- Design innovator you are excited to redefine a space by bringing novel, delightful ideas to the table. You are able to pull from unexpected sources of inspiration.
- Master of many mediums you design seamlessly across mobile, desktop, wearables, and other interfaces
- Passion for Healthcare or Fitness you're passionate about enabling others to live their healthiest lives through design and technology, and have experience in the industry

Hinge Health Hybrid Model
We believe that remote work and in-person work have their own advantages and disadvantages, and we want to be able to leverage the best of both worlds. Employees in hybrid roles are required to be in the office 3 days/week.
This is a Bengaluru-based role that involves regular interaction and collaboration with Hinge Health colleagues in San Francisco, CA.
Time zones: San Francisco is the Pacific Time Zone, which is 12 hours and 30 minutes behind India Standard Time for example, 8am in San Francisco is 8:30pm in Bengaluru. Standard working hours in San Francisco are between 8am - 6pm. For this role, applicants should be open to meetings in the late evening following India Standard Time.
