Role Summary

The Assistant Manager – Audit will be responsible for executing internal audit assignments across

corporate and site operations to ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements,

and internal controls. The role involves conducting audits as per the approved audit plan, identifying

control gaps and operational risks, and providing actionable recommendations to strengthen

governance and process efficiency. The incumbent will also support management in reviewing key

audit findings, monitoring closure of audit observations, and assisting in investigations related to

code of conduct or policy deviations where required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Independently execute audit assignments in accordance with the approved audit plan and defined

scope.

  • Prepare, review, and finalize comprehensive audit reports with clear findings and

recommendations

  • Consolidate and summarize key audit observations for management review and escalation,

where required.

  • Undertake audit- related travel to various locations as necessary to ensure effective coverage.
  • Provide support in the review and investigation of Code of Conduct–related matters, as

applicable

  • Travel to project sites and other locations as required to ensure effective audit coverage.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to independently manage and execute audit assignments.
  • Excellent report writing and documentation skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Working knowledge of SAP will be an added advantage.

Other Requirements

  • Willingness to travel to project sites for audits (approximately 70–80 days per year / 5–10 days

per month).
