Inviting applications for the role of Senior Principal Consultant, SAP Release Manager

Responsibilities:
Strategic Release Planning & Management: Develop and maintain the overall SAP release roadmap, integrating various project timelines, scope, and resource requirements to ensure alignment with business objectives.
Release Coordination & Scheduling: Oversee the end-to-end release process, including planning, scheduling, coordinating, and managing all SAP releases across development, quality assurance, and production environments.
Risk Management & Mitigation: Identify, assess, and manage risks associated with SAP releases, developing contingency plans and ensuring timely resolution of issues to minimize impact on business operations.
Change & Incident Management Integration: Collaborate closely with Change Management and Incident Management teams to ensure that all SAP changes are properly documented, approved, and integrated into the release schedule, and that any incidents are addressed swiftly.
Environment Management: Ensure the availability and stability of all SAP environments (development, test, production) required for successful release execution, including managing refreshes and system copies.
Tooling & Process Improvement: Drive the adoption and optimization of release management tools and processes (e.g., Charm, SolMan) to enhance efficiency, automation, and traceability of all release activities.
Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary communication hub for all release-related activities, providing regular updates, status reports, and escalation points to senior management and relevant stakeholders.
Team Leadership & Mentoring: Guide and mentor junior release managers or team members, fostering best practices in release management and ensuring adherence to organizational standards.
Compliance & Governance: Ensure all SAP releases adhere to internal policies, regulatory requirements, and audit standards, maintaining comprehensive documentation for all release artifacts.
Post-Release Review & Optimization: Conduct post-release reviews to evaluate release performance, identify lessons learned, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to refine future release processes.
Continuous Improvement: Conduct post-release reviews (retrospectives), track KPIs (success rates, defect rates), and optimize automation tools like SAP Solution Manager ChaRM.

Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications
.Graduation: B.Tech/B. E, MBA/MCA

Preferred Qualifications/skills
.Extensive experience in large-scale ECC to S/4HANA transitions and cutover management.
.Expert knowledge of SAP Solution Manager (ChaRM), SAP Cloud ALM, ServiceNow and Jira.
.Must possess excellent writing, speaking, analytical, project management, organizational, teamwork, and customer service skills that will assist them in identifying solutions to sophisticated security problems
.Possess good verbal and written communication skills.
