Job Description

Role & Responsibilities

Sound knowledge of Oracle architecture
Experience with space, user, object, and memory management
Installing and creating Oracle 12c/18c/19c RAC and standalone databases
ASM administration and configuration
Data Pump export/import operations
RMAN backup and restore scenarios
Database migration and upgrade handling
Grid infrastructure and database patching
Troubleshooting performance bottlenecks
Implementing and maintaining database security
Managing large and mission-critical databases
Experience with Oracle GoldenGate (added advantage)
Familiarity with cloud technologies (added advantage)
Exposure to MSSQL, DB2, PostgreSQL (preferred)
Participation in new Oracle projects with best practice recommendations
Client communication handling
Knowledge of ITSM processes
